I painted Petals at Dawn as part of my Colour in Bloom collection. It is an original oil painting on linen, stretched on an aluminium frame, measuring 110 x 90 x 4.5 cm.
This work was inspired by the quiet beauty of an early summer morning — that soft, diffused light when the world feels new and gentle. I wanted to capture the tender awakening of a flower field, when colours begin to glow and the air is filled with stillness and promise.
Through delicate layers of paint and subtle textures, I aimed to express the calm joy of that moment — a celebration of light, life, and renewal.
