Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Yes — in some cases. Art prints are made to order, so cancellations are only possible if production hasn’t started yet. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
Original artworks can be cancelled free of charge before shipment.
Commissioned artworks can be cancelled until materials have been purchased or work has started. One revision is included in the commission process — if you decide not to continue after that revision, only the material costs (canvas + paint) will be invoiced (no labour time).
Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we may still be able to update your address — please email us right away with your order number and the correct details. Once shipping has begun, changes are usually no longer possible. We ship to the address provided at checkout; if the address is incorrect or incomplete, we’ll assist where possible, but we can’t accept responsibility for undeliverable or lost parcels caused by address errors.
Are all artworks made to order?
Art prints are made to order — we don’t keep stock, so your print is produced after you place your order.
Original artworks are one-of-a-kind pieces created by Lin and are sold as finished works (unless you commission a custom piece). Commissioned artworks are created uniquely for you based on your chosen concept and preferences.
Do you offer personal commissions?
Yes — if you’d like a custom artwork created just for you, please reach out. I’m happy to discuss your ideas, style preferences and colour palette to see if it’s the right fit.
Packaging & Delivery
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, delivery is available within the Netherlands only. EU delivery will be added soon.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Art prints are made to order. Estimated delivery time within the Netherlands (including processing, production and shipping) is:
• Unframed prints: ~7–10 business days
• Framed prints: ~10–14 business days
You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel ships.
Original and commissioned artworks follow an individual timeline due to the creation and finishing process. We’ll discuss the expected delivery timeframe with you personally before shipment or handover.
How will my artwork be packaged?
With great care. Unframed prints ship flat (small sizes) or in sturdy tubes (larger sizes). Framed prints arrive ready to hang, with corner protection and secure packaging. Originals are packed with extra care — and where possible, I personally deliver them.
What happens if I’m not home during delivery?
The carrier may try a second delivery or bring your parcel to a pickup point. Please collect it within the timeframe they provide (usually 5–7 days). If the parcel returns to us, we can reship it (new shipping costs apply) or process a refund according to our Returns Policy.
Will I receive tracking?
Yes — as soon as your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link via email.
Returns & Refunds
How do I start a return?
Email contact@linjans-art.com within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you’d like to return an item. Please include your order number and the item you wish to return.
We’ll share the return instructions (how to pack and where to send). For standard returns, we recommend using tracked shipping. You can also use the EU withdrawal form if you prefer.

How much time do I have to send the return?
After you’ve notified us of your return, you have 14 days to ship the item back.
Do I need to pay for return shipping?
Yes — return shipping costs for standard returns are paid by the customer. We recommend using tracked shipping, as standard returns sent without tracking that do not reach us cannot be refunded.
If your item arrived damaged or incorrect, we will cover the return and replacement shipping costs.
Can I exchange an item?
We don’t offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different piece, please return your item and place a new order.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds are usually completed within 5–10 business days, and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of your withdrawal. We may wait to refund until we’ve received the goods or you provide proof of return, whichever comes first.
Can I return a commissioned or custom artwork?
No — commissioned pieces are personalised and created especially for you, so they cannot be returned. One revision is included in the process. If you choose not to continue after that revision, only the material costs (canvas + paint) will be invoiced — no labour or creative time.
What if my order arrived damaged?
Please email us within 48 hours with clear photos of the packaging and artwork. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
