Poppy Parade was created as part of my series Colour in Bloom. It is an original work on linen canvas, stretched on an aluminium frame, measuring 140 x 140 x 4.5 cm.

For this piece, I wanted to capture the exuberant joy of poppies — my favourite flower. Their vibrant presence and spirited movement inspired me to translate their energy onto the canvas using rich layers of oil paint.
