I painted Dancing Poppies as a joyful tribute to one of my favourite flowers. It is an original oil painting on linen, stretched on an aluminum frame, measuring 120 x 100 x 4.5 cm.

Poppies have always felt like pure happiness to me — light, vibrant, and full of movement. With this work, I wanted to celebrate their spirit: the way they sway in the breeze, catch the sunlight, and bring instant joy to any landscape. Surrounded by wildflowers and open sky, the poppies seem almost alive, dancing freely in the summer air.
